Pam Dingman


Pamela Dingman left her comfortable job as a senior project manager and stock holder in 2003. She joined Engineering Design Consultants (EDC), opening the firms Omaha office. That same year she took over management of the firm and by 2006 she had acquired the firm in its entirety. EDC provides civil engineering, surveying, land planning and construction administration services in Nebraska and Iowa. She has over 20 years experience with civil engineering project management with an emphasis on grading, sanitary and storm sewer, paving and park sites. In addition, she has expanded the business to local and federal municipal work. In 2008, she created a Historical Passions. Dingman received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln in December 1991 and is a Registered Professional Engineer in the states of Nebraska and Iowa.

Dingman has been honored locally and nationally with several awards such as the 2013 Society of Women Engineers Entrepreneur Award, 2013 Nebraska Planners Associations Award for Implementing Social Change, 2008 University of Nebraska Young Alumni of the Year, the 2006 ABWA Top Ten Business Women in American, 2002 SWE Distinguished New Engineer and she was the first woman to receive the Nebraska Society of Professional Engineers-Young Engineer of the Year Award in 2000. She has two children, twenty-year-old Steven and sixteen-year-old Thomas.
